Monday, Monday
Current mood: sleepy

I actually inadvertently fell asleep at school today, in the break room, in between sessions. I wasn't even that tired. I suppose I just felt like a little snooze. The receptionist had to wake me up for my next appointment. Weird.
My South CD still has not arrived. It's not really Amazon's fault though; my debit card didn't go through because I made a deposit last week and left it in the machine, which promptly ate it. I had one of those weeks last week. It must have been something about the bank - I also drove off with the little tube that swooshes up back into the bank when you do drive-through banking. But, I expect my little package of joy in the mail next week. I also ordered some complilation CD I know nothing about. I am assuming it will be good because South and Radiohead are both on it.
I'm always better at listening to new CDs when I'm on road trips. I got really into South on a trip to Arizona and really into Muse on my drive to New York. On my trip to Illinois this weekend, I mostly had Ian Brown for company. I had his first CD and I thought I hadn't really given it much attention, but I must have listened to it quite a lot because there are a few songs from that on the greatest hits and I knew them all. I also knew, somehow, a lot of his newer stuff. I must have been paying attention without realising it. My favourite song on the whole thing features UNKLE, so I might have to start getting into them. I believe they are also on the compilation.
I have a lot of stuff on my mind tonight. This is more of a journal entry than a blog. I've just been so busy for the past couple of weeks that I don't really know what to do with myself. There honestly hasn't been a spare minute. I'm trying to plan a fundraiser, keep my head above water at school, redecorate my bedroom, train for the marathon, and still find time to chill out and drink wine. I was honestly grateful for that extra hour this weekend! I'm not cut out for all this hassle.
This sounds sick, but I actually missed seeing the sunrise on my way to Murfreesboro this morning. I had become used to getting ready in the dark and having a shower in daylight panicked me a little because I kept feeling like I was running late. I'll get used to it, I'm sure. Plus it was freakily unseasonably warm today. It didn't feel like the day after the clocks go back. Someone up there is messing with us. I can almost see the strings (like a bad '50s kids' TV show!).
