Ode to the IPod from the Disorganised
Current mood: drunk

I don't know how the hell I organised my music before I had an ipod. Actually I do. I didn't organise it. I just listened to whatever I could find. Or, if I had a particular obsession, I made sure I could find that CD, while all the others could go to hell. Now, however, the ipod organises everything for me. It organises by album, artist, song, playlist, and, should I want it to, it even shuffles by the above categories and more. I hear "folks" (to use George W.'s lingo) criticising modern technology but for we disorganised folks, this particular modern invention opens up a whole new musical world. It's not like before the ipod, I didn't buy music, I did, I just never kept very good track of it. Now, apparently, all I have to keep track of is a 2" by 5" piece of equipment and the world is my musical oyster. I know there are probably a million people on Myspace singing the joys of the ipod, but I have to say, it has changed my disorganised musical life. God bless all things Apple, especially the ipod!
