| Mens' Interest Here's something that's been itching under my skin since I got back from Ireland. When I'm over there, I traditionally buy a lot of music and a lot of music magazines. For some reason, this time I couldn't really find much of either, only Q and Hotpress. What bugged me though was where I found Q and Hotpress. At Eason's, Ireland's main newsagent chain, music magazines (the good ones, not the Britney, Christina teeny-bopper ones) are classified under "Mens' Interest" right next to Maxim, FHM, and the tits. I really take offence at this. It made me feel like a freak. Am I the only girl who likes good music? Is it weird that I'm not listening to Britney-Simpson-Aguilera? Is that what I'm supposed to do? Does Eason's have a conspiracy afoot to keep good music strictly in the male sphere? Am I an intruder in this boys' club? It wasn't just Eason's either, Virgin Megastore did the same thing. Richard Branson, I am ashamed of you - you should know better!
